Supporting Homeless Vets During COVID

Homeless Veterans Welcome Center - Collecting Food, Blankets, and Packages of Socks & Underwear for ALL Sizes of Men and Women

Where there's a will there's a way:
We’ve spent a good deal of time knocking on doors collecting items for homeless vets and COVID hasn't stopped our outreach program. Nor has it stopped the problems that homeless veterans are still facing.

We found ourselves with a mountain of generous donations of much-needed relief supplies just sitting in my living room and a quarantine that prevented us from entering The VA to deliver.

We called on our good friend and Army Veteran, Edward Moro at The VA Welcome Center to help us get these blankets, coats, socks and food items into the hands of those who truly need them. He was eager to help and Our Masked Hero arrived to collect (all the while keeping a safe distance) and offered an enthusiastic Thumbs Up before transporting back to the VA. All items will be quarantined to ensure the safety of those receiving the donated items.

**VA’s specialized programs for homeless Veterans serve hundreds of thousands of homeless and at-risk Veterans each year. Independently and in collaboration with federal and community partners, VA programs provide Veterans with housing solutions, employment opportunities, health care, justice- and reentry-related services and more.
